This online micro-credential is designed to provide health professionals with knowledge in the safe support and assistance of medications for clients in the Community Care environment. You will be provided with an overview on medication forms, routes, the 'Six Rights' of medication and assistance of select medications. Please note that this micro-credential does not provide endorsement to administer medication. As a micro-credential, this course gives you a certificate of completion and a digital badge to display in your profile or share on social media.

- Identify what medication support or assistance means in the context of community care workers
- Describe the process of assisting safely with the client’s medication.

Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession.
