The micro-credential provides you with an overview on medication forms, routes, the 'Six Rights' of medication and assistance of select medications.

Standard Micro-Credential StructureDuration: 2 hours
- Identify the common forms of self-administering medications and medication routes
- Recall the 'Six Rights' of medication and the essential parts of a drug order
- Identify what medication support or assistance means in the context of community care workers
- Describe the process of assisting safely with the client’s medication.
Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, a non-creditable micro-credential (Digital Badge) and a Certificate of Completion.
