Overview

Access to this micro-credential requires an Enrolment Key. The Enrolment Key can be found at MYCQU under the Discover Articles in Micro-Credentials at CQUniversity.

The micro-credential you are about to be involved in, is designed to promote a better understanding of Australia’s First Nations people, and to offer you an opportunity to learn about the culture and history of the language groups that are the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of contemporary Australia.  The knowledge you will take away from your participation will involve you in the reconciliation process that is underway across our nation. The cultural awareness you will gain is a part of the CQUniversity commitment to Indigenous Australians in every community where the University serves. You will learn skills required to have inclusive interactions with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, fellow students and community members.  A big part of this micro-credential is focused on how to engage with First Nations people in the workplace, the classroom and in the broader community in culturally safe and appropriate ways.

This online micro-credential provides a non-creditable micro-credential and digital badge which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.
