This online micro-credential will prepare you for the role of wardrobe assistant on a film set.

On successful completion of this training you will be eligible to enrol in the studio-based micro-credential Costume and Wardrobe Assistance: Studio Application

This micro-credential involves 3 hours of online self-paced study. You will learn how to:

  • work closely with a costume designer
  • maintain costumes
  • manage wardrobe inventory
  • assist with fittings
  • source wardrobe pieces
  • coordinate costume changes
  • maintain costume continuity
  • track wardrobe expenses
  • communicate effectively. 

Upon successful completion of this training, you will be awarded a non-credit-bearing micro-credential and digital badge that can be shared on your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.

Requirements

This micro-credential is intended for job-seekers or existing workers aged 15 years of age or over, who permanently reside in Queensland, and who are either Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, or eligible visa holders.
