Short Course Codes
ACC – Accredited Short Course
A nationally recognised skill set or set of units studied as a short course, which results in a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment. The completed units can be used for credit transfer into another nationally recognised training package.
NACC – Non-accredited Short Course
A short course which provides skills and knowledge but is not part of a nationally recognised training package, and results in a statement of attendance. It cannot be used for credit transfer into a nationally recognised training package, however it could be used as part of the Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) process.
PDC – Professional Development Course (Micro-Credential)
A micro-credential to meet professional development requirements as well as industry workforce development needs. Course material is developed by internal CQUniversity staff as well as external industry experts and delivered via the Centre for Professional Development's online Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS serves to provide instant access to the micro-credentials with a secure payment gateway. Successful completion of a PDC will be awarded with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and a Digital Badge. Articulation into accredited courses at CQUniversity is available for some of the courses on a case by case basis.
