The College of Health Sciences (CHS) contains eight separate higher education disciplines and nine courses making it one of the largest in the School of Health Medical and Applied Sciences.

The College offers Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 7 qualifications in Allied Health, Chiropractic Science, Oral Health and Exercise and Sport Sciences; Level 8 qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech Pathology; and Level 9 qualifications in Clinical Chiropractic. All professional courses are fully accredited with the relevant external accrediting agency and where appropriate comply with the regulations of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) allowing graduates to directly register as health professionals on successful completion of their studies.

Additionally, with CQU being a comprehensive university, CHS also offer/facilitates a range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications; Certificate II in Sport and Recreation, Certificate III in Fitness, Allied Health Assistance, and Dental Assisting, Certificate IV in Fitness, and a Diploma of Remedial Massage. The College of Health Sciences offers courses across the CQU campus footprint including Sydney, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Mackay and Cairns.
