The Stronger Smarter Institute’s Teachers of Stem Initiative (ToSI) is a scholarship that is focused on supporting graduate students as well as current teachers who are looking to expand their qualifications to include STEM subjects. The scholarship offers $30 000 financial support for a 4-year degree as well as options for Master of Teaching and Graduate Certificate students.

The Teachers of STEM Initiative Mentor and Support Pathway Scholarship supports Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women to complete STEM teaching qualifications. This could be a complete undergraduate degree or you could upgrade a current teaching or STEM qualification.

The application process occurs in three stages:

  1. In the first round, applicants must submit a written or pre recorded application
     
  2. In the second round, successful first round applicants will undertake a one hour interview
     
  3. Successful applicants will be offered a position in the Teachers of STEM Initiative
