High schoolers to discover pathways at Capricorn MEGA Careers Expo
More than 1100 senior high school students from across the Rockhampton Region will converge on the CQUniversity Community Sports Centre on 13 May seeking employment and study pathways at the Capricorn MEGA Careers Expo.
Presented by CQUniversity' in partnership with Rockhampton Regional Council and the Rockhampton Advanced Manufacturing hub' the expo will showcase more than 37 exhibitors on the day.
The event will provide the Year 10 to 12 students the chance to speak to employers and tertiary education institutions' apprenticeship and traineeship providers' resource and civil construction organisations and an array of local businesses about post-school options.
CQUni' Rockhampton Regional Council and the Rockhampton Advanced Manufacturing Hub recognise how challenging 2020 was for local businesses' which is why the event has been offered to all exhibitors for free.
The Capricorn MEGA Careers Expo will be held on Thursday' 13 May' from 9am-2pm at the CQUniversity Community Sports Centre' Rockhampton North campus.
