Five-star experience a guarantee at CQUniversity

CQUniversity has been recognised as a five-star university in a highly regarded global rating system.

The University received a five-star rating for teaching' employability' internationalisation' and facilities in the latest release of the QS Stars University Ratings' a rating system from Quacquarelli Symonds that is released every three years.

CQUniversity Vice-Chancellor and President' Professor Nick Klomp says the world-class result highlights the University's growth from a four-star institution in 2019.

"We received full-marks for our employer reputation and career service support' which is a first for the University' and our graduate employability rates proved second-to-none once again'"

Professor Klomp says.

"We pride ourselves on providing students with work-ready skills and knowledge' during their studies' so they are ready for their new career following graduation."

Professor Klomp says that CQUniversity also improved in the learning environment (facilities) indicator' increasing from a four to a five-star rating.

"The facilities indicator provides students with some insight into the environment they can expect as part of their university experience'"

he says.

"For the first time' we received full-marks for our sporting facilities' reflecting our advancements in key university infrastructure' as well as our health services."

CQUniversity's excellence in teaching and internationalisation has not changed' receiving a five-star rating yet again for both indicators.

"With a five-star rating for internationalisation' CQUniversity is again recognised for its global outlook and diversity'"

Professor Klomp says.

"Given that the teaching indicator looks at student satisfaction levels' our five-star rating is a testament to the commitment of CQUniversity staff."

Professor Klomp says the overall result reflects the University's investment in' and focus on' the student experience over the last three years.

"A lot has happened since 2019 – even a global pandemic – yet CQUniversity has never lost sight of its purpose'"

he says.

"We are committed to providing world-class' transformative education and research for our students' partners' and communities across Australia and internationally.

"Looking to the future' we will continue to work together to identify new opportunities for improvement because we are committed to meeting the evolving needs of the communities we serve."

CQUniversity also received a four-star rating for inclusiveness and its Bachelor of Accounting course.
