Making CQU first preference was the right choice

When Chloe Miota went searching for 'the right fit' university to study psychology online back in 2019' her research led her to CQUniversity.

CQUniversity not only offered her a broad-spectrum Bachelor of Psychological Science degree' but enabled her to study the course entirely online from her home base in Brisbane.

Chloe said she chose CQUniversity as her first preference because of the amazing online study options available to her.

"CQU is a good fit for me because they enable me to study within the comfort of my own home' especially in these worrying times of COVID.

"The University offers me amazing lectures' fun and engaging content and a safe space to work through it all at my own pace without needing to rush or stress'" she explained.

Her decision to study psychology was born from her desire to help people and a need to understand how people's minds work and why people feel certain ways.

"My career plans for the future are to work with children and teens who feel unsteady and depressed'" she said.

"I want to help lower the teen suicide rate by being a person that the youth can rely on and help them overcome their troubles.

"I also hope to further my career into working with people who are mentally ill and incarcerated to hopefully put them back on the right path so they can return to society easier."

Chloe attributes her study success to date to CQUniversity's ability to provide a stress-free study pathway along with hardworking academic staff who continue to help her achieve her goals.
