CQUniversity holds number one position for social equity in latest Australian ratings

CQUniversity has maintained its number one position nationally for social equity in the 2023 Australian Good Universities Guide (GUG) ratings.

The result sees CQUniversity rank at number one in the category for five consecutive years and reflects the University's belief that higher education should be for everyone – no matter their postcode or educational background.

"This is a fantastic result for CQUniversity'" Vice-Chancellor and President'" Professor Nick Klomp said.

"We strive to be Australia's most accessible and inclusive university and this recognition really shows that we're on the right track."

CQUniversity placed number two in Australia (number one in Queensland) for first generation (students who are first in their family to attend university)' number five nationally for undergraduate overall experience' ninth for undergraduate student support' fifth for undergraduate teaching quality and fifth nationally for postgraduate skills development.

"We also came in at number one in Queensland for full-time employment (third nationally)' proving that CQUniversity is providing our students with sought-after skills and knowledge that they can use from the moment they graduate."

In the latest results' CQUniversity upheld its 2022 five-star performance ratings across seven key categories including social equity (undergraduate)' first generation (undergraduate)' teaching quality (undergraduate)' starting salary (undergraduate and postgraduate)' fulltime employment (undergraduate and postgraduate)' skills development (postgraduate) and overall experience (undergraduate).
