Fresh ink, big feels: New look Be. turns the page on ordinary
CQUniversity has released the latest edition of its flagship publication, Be. magazine.
With a striking new look that reflects the University’s refreshed branding, the magazine continues to deliver powerful storytelling from across the CQU community.
On the cover of Issue 39 is celebrated artist and CQU alumnus Jet James, who features alongside three other graduates in an article exploring how each is making their mark in the world since their time at CQU.
From creative journeys to ground-breaking research, this issue celebrates the many ways CQU’s people – students, alumni, researchers and staff – are changing lives in their communities and beyond.
“This edition of Be. not only showcases a vibrant new look but also delivers the same powerful storytelling our readers have come to expect,” Be. editor Priscilla Roberts said.
“From human interest to research breakthroughs and lifestyle insights to big-picture current affairs – the magazine captures the many ways CQU is providing insight and creating impact across Australia and beyond.”
Key features in this issue include:
- Making Their Mark: Four CQU arts alumni, including cover artist Jet James, reflect on their creative careers and what drives their passion and purpose today.
- The Gumbi Gumbi Garden: Discover how a native medicinal plant is being put through the rigours of modern science with promising results.
- AI in the Classroom: How CQU is preparing students and educators for an AI-enabled future through digital literacy and smart teaching practices.
