CQUni Interfaith and Cultural Diversity Society exists to provide an understanding of differences between religions and cultures.
The Society has monthly activities that alternate between Interfaith one month and Culture the next. Anyone can zoom in from anywhere.
We encourage as many people as possible to attend the events. Diversity is important because our country, workplaces, and universities increasingly consist of various cultural, racial, religious, and ethnic groups. We can learn from one another, but first, we must have a level of understanding about each other to facilitate collaboration and cooperation.
Explore the Richness of Turkish Culture
This months event is a cultural one and will be held on 8 September from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm (AEST).
We have the opportunity to hear from Muhammed Yildirim about the customs, traditions, festivals, food, and special things about Turkey. Taste a sample of Turkey food and become immersed in the culture. You do not have to register to participate.
Those on the Bundaberg campus can attend in person in BDG~03/G.24.
For those zooming in, you can join using the access link and passcode (374665).
