Shauni graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from a different university in 2017. After that, she worked as a registered nurse for Queensland Health in multiple wards, gaining experience before commencing further studies at CQUniversity.
Shauni decided to study another degree to help her secure a position as a clinical nurse. Some of the areas she worked in had clinical nurses with years of experience, but no qualifications, whilst other areas demanded a qualification. Shauni decided that her best shot to become a clinical nurse was to gain the required qualification, so she completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing with CQU.
Shauni graduated in February 2022 and secured an interview for a clinical nurse position only a couple of months later. She now works as a clinical nurse and enjoys the continuous learning that is involved in her role.
