Rosy Bhattarai
Before studying with CQUniversity, Rosy completed her bachelor degree in electrical engineering in Nepal and had six months of experience as a lecturer and research assistant at Kathmandu University. She always wanted to do further study and chose CQU due to the Melbourne campus’ prime location in the city, affordable fees, and great teaching staff.
Rosy graduated in 2020 as an electrical engineer and immediately joined Yarra Trams as a graduate project engineer (electrical). She has now worked for the company for one and a half years and is involved in one of the largest projects of the Department of Transport – The A- and Z-Class life extension program. Rosy’s job involves producing engineering documents, inspecting sites, testing and trialling, and certifying Yarra Trams standards and rolling stock standards during design and development.
When asked at her workplace which university she went to, Rosy is always proud to answer that she is from CQU.
