Greg is a descendant of the Ngarigo people of the Southern Highlands, Monaro and Limestone Plains area in south-east New South Wales. He completed his Bachelor of Laws in 2017. During his studies, Greg was based in Canberra working full time as an auditor.

Currently, Greg is working in Brisbane in corporate governance, risk and compliance and has undertaken additional studies since completing his first degree - including a Masters in Fraud and Financial Crime, Masters of Investigations, Graduate Certificate of Applied Corporate Governance and Applied Risk Management and Graduate Certificate in Management. Greg is currently undertaking a Master of Letters through CQUni and enjoys sharing his experiences as a mentor through the CQUniversity and Arrow Energy Whanu Binal Indigenous Entrepreneurship program.

Greg is the first in his family to attend CQUniversity, but he intends to maintain and grow the family connection from now on.
