Kristie-Lee Alfrey
Kristie-Lee used to be a Hairdresser, but because of a progressive health condition, needed to stop hairdressing and pursue a less physical career. She decided to pursue her interest in human behaviour and psychology through STEPS to a Honours degree in psychology.
After graduating Kristie-Lee continued her role as Laboratory Coordinator for the Motivation of Health Behaviours Lab, where she coordinates and assists with research projects across the uni, and has now enrolled as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate while doing some casual academic work, including course work unit delivery and assessment marking, and also supporting students.
Her degree directly lead to her PhD & other positions within the uni. Having been a CQUni student, she is familiar with the journey our students travel and her studies in psychology give her specialised knowledge to provide quality support to the researchers and students she works with.
