Tony divides his time between Australia and Europe and is well recognised as an academic editor, adviser, and lecturer across diverse disciplines.

Tony's study, leading to a Master of Letters degree at CQUniversity, has been a useful means of returning to an editorial perspective within the arts. This has facilitated current editorial assignments for those who do not have English as a first language, and who wish to present academic papers.

Tony has been affiliated with the University of Sydney for more than three decades. Aside from postgraduate teaching in periodontal, oral plastic and implant surgery, his clinical practice and broad-ranging research in the health sciences provide a background to his writings in medical sociology.

Tony is the writer and editor of Medbeat Media, which seeks to utilise cultural semiotics as a means of explaining the relationship between patient and clinician in the process of cosmetic body modification.
