Mario is a Mechanical Engineer at Alinta Energy. He started his career as a graduate engineer with an engineering consulting firm in Adelaide who kindly relocated him from Gladstone. He has worked for industry leaders such as Santos, APA Engineering, BHP, Viva Energy, SA Water and ALG.
Mario was a mechanical fitter at Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) and decided to look to the future and take advantage of the opportunities that GLNG and CQUni had given him.
Currently, Mario looks after the operations and maintenance of the Wagerup Power Station (Alstom13e2), the Pinjarra Power Station (MHPI701 with HRSG) as well as the Bairnsdale Power Station (LM6000). He also looks after the capital expenditure, maintenance planning for the sites and reliability strategies.
