Lou's passion for creativity and community has helped him make a difference supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across Australia. Originally from Rockhampton, Lou currently lives in Melbourne and is the Manager of Aboriginal Community Engagement and Partnership for the Victorian Government's Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.

Lou has a successful history in government, including roles in the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the Department of Social Services.

Lou enjoys being at the decision-making table and be at the forefront in co-designing and implementing real solutions and real outcomes with and for the community. He sees how much talent is out there, and how Australian industry has a growing understanding of the value of partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Peoples.
