Amanda is currently a Procedures Officer in Legal Policy Procedure and Development within Court Services Queensland. She has worked within Court Services Queensland for over 32 years, working as Deputy Senior Registrar (Cairns Magistrates Court) for most of her studies. In 2019, she relocated to Mackay and commenced remote project work, training, and procedure development.

Amanda's skills, experience, and now qualifications, allow her to work across the various areas with ease. In September 2020, she moved permanently into a procedure officer role working remotely from Mackay.

Amanda's degree and the timing of COVID-19 have impacted her decision to remain with Court Services Queensland rather than seek opportunities in private practice. She has had many opportunities to grow and learn, mainly from her interactions with senior legal officers.
