Since graduation, I have had a journey across the world with my career. I began my career teaching on the Sunshine Coast with a CQU Bachelor of Learning Management. Then, I moved to the United Kingdom where I also taught for a few years, followed by teaching jobs in Dubai, Thailand, China, and South Korea.
Whilst teaching around the world I continued to study. However, I was drawn back to CQUniversity to complete my PhD. The PhD at CQUniversity was perfect as I was still working offshore and the ability to complete my studies online, during the pandemic was an amazing experience. My supervisory team were fantastic, and the relationships gained whilst working as a Student Mentor with the School of Graduate Research will last forever. I still continue to teach (now in Northern Alberta, Canada) and the skills, knowledge and experience gained from CQUniversity allows me to be the best teacher possible.
