Kellie Wellard

I am a Case Manager for year 10 disability students. I am also an English teacher, math and alternate science teacher. My roles allow me to modify curriculum and create individual learning experiences for students who have a disability. I am also an active member of Rainbow Action Group and True Colours. 

I advocate for students to assist them meeting their personal learning goals. I am also an advocate for Youth Mental Health.

Before my role at Education Queensland, I was a swimming coach and a teacher aide. I decided to study after being an aide for six years. I chose CQUniversity as it was mainly online and close to home. As a single mum of five kids, I needed this flexibility.
