Scott Hayes

I am a Case Manager at Employers Mutual Limited (EML).

In 2014, I completed a Diploma of Business Studies, before progressing into a Bachelor of Business, which I graduated from in 2017. I chose CQUniversity because it is well known for online learning. Suffering from mental health issues, the flexibility of online learning meant I could study away from large crowds of people.

I believe the subjects studied during my degree have assisted in my employment, allowing me to effectively create business documents, and express ideas in a business context.

On a personal level, some of my highlights are being the first in his family to graduate university and persevering through struggles at times to finish my degrees. On a professional level, I am most proud of stepping outside of my comfort levels and offering improvements. I've assisted with reviewing and updating training materials, working with team leaders and technical specialists to enhance the onboarding experiences of new employees.
