Peter McLarty

I am the Data & IT Security Manager for Redbourne Business Services. I provide guidance and data advice to the business as well as working from time to time in the Data warehouse and Azure data platform. I am in charge of all the business’ IT security requirements, including being responsible for the Information Security Management System which underpins the businesses ISO27001 certification. My career highlights include being headhunted for a previous role, guest speaking at various conferences and being able to travel to some amazing locations for my work. 

My son is a student at CQU studying IT majoring in Cybersecurity and my daughter studies Medical Lab Science at QUT. 

My best advice is to adopt being a lifelong learner and learn something new every day, it doesn't always have to relate to your job but it will make you a richer human.
