After completing my Bachelor of Electronic Engineering in Pakistan in 2017, I recognised the importance of management skills for advancing in the field of engineering and I made the decision to study a Master of Management for Engineers through CQUniversity. By the time I completed my Master's degree, I had not only acquired a solid foundation in engineering management but also developed a network of industry contacts and mentors.
In January 2021, fresh from completing my degree in July, I embarked on a Professional Year Program for Engineers. This program was my gateway to gaining practical experience and integrating into the Australian engineering landscape. During the Professional Year, I dedicated myself to expanding my knowledge and skills through intensive training sessions, workshops, and networking events. It was during one such event that I encountered LG Energy Solution, a global leader in renewable energy and battery technology. Intrigued by their innovative projects and commitment to sustainability, I eagerly pursued an opportunity to join their team. In late 2021, I secured a three-month internship which was a pivotal experience that allowed me to apply my academic learning to real-world challenges and gain invaluable hands-on experience.
In December 2021, I was thrilled to accept a full-time position at LG Energy Solution's Melbourne office. I embraced every opportunity to grow and contribute and eagerly took on new challenges and responsibilities. I was fortunate to receive multiple promotions within a relatively short span of time. Throughout my career journey at LG Energy Solution, I have continued to evolve professionally and personally to hone not only my technical skills but also my leadership abilities and strategic thinking. Looking back on my journey—from enrolling at CQU, to participating in the Professional Year Program to achieving multiple promotions at LG Energy Solution—I feel a profound sense of gratitude and accomplishment. I am excited about the future and remain committed to driving positive change through innovation in sustainable technology.
