I transitioned to CQU directly from high school. Throughout high school, I was uncertain about my future path. However, in Grade 12, I discovered my passion for writing. Among my diverse subjects, it was the essays and writing assignments that significantly boosted my grades. Whether it was showing my work in math or composing biology reports, I received numerous compliments on my writing, which helped me maintain high academic standards. This realisation guided me toward my chosen course at CQUniversity.

Since graduating, I have transitioned into a full-time administrative role, which has significantly shaped my career path. While studying, I was deeply involved in managing full-time social media for various projects. However, I decided to step back from these responsibilities upon graduation. This decision, though seemingly counterintuitive, has afforded me greater freedom and reduced stress, enabling me to focus more on my personal passions and my ultimate goal of entering the journalism field.

Although I am still in the early stages of my career and haven't fully utilized my degree in a technical sense, it has been invaluable in many ways. My studies at CQUniversity have equipped me with strong communication skills, which I apply daily in my job. Writing monthly newsletters and communicating effectively with clients are direct applications of what I learned. Moreover, my degree has prepared me for future aspirations, such as becoming a business owner. I feel confident in my ability to be a good leader and effective communicator, thanks to the foundational knowledge and skills gained during my studies. Additionally, the enjoyment I found in my coursework has inspired me to continue learning and growing outside of the university environment.
