I studied my Bachelor in Business Administration in my home country of Nepal and worked in WWF Nepal for a year in the Finance and Administration department. While working there I was keen to study post graduate and my mentors inspired me to study a Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) in Australia.
I completed my MPA in 2018 and landed my first accounting job in Australia as a Graduate Accountant in GDP Group. My work includes Profit and Loss, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling. After working there for 2.5 years I joined a Restoration company as a Financial Accountant and currently I am working in the logistics industry, which has been a challenging role.
My degree has been a building block to help achieve this career success in 5 years in Australia.
