I did the STEPs course, which led to direct entry into a Bachelor of Nursing at the age of 40. I completed my Nursing degree, and then completed a Grad Year in Day Surgery - Admission and Recovery through my job at Queensland Health. I am now studying a Bachelor of Midwifery (Graduate Entry) while working in Maternity, where I provide Ante, Intra and Postnatal care to mothers and their babies.
I was a Nanny, Home and Community respite carer where my desire to care flourished and pushed me to study further. CQU helped me meet my goals and continue to flourish to chase my dreams.
