NACC00107 - Shibori Basics Folding

Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that typically involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it prior to dyeing with colour. In this fun 2 hour session, participants will discover how easy it is to create beautifully patterned silk scarves. Join us for this fun, creative learning experience. The fee for this short course will be $45.00.

Student Outcomes, Career Opportunities and Occupations

1. Students will receive a Result of Assessment within 21 days of completion of each unit/module or within 21 days of the ‘close of study’ date. 2. Students who successfully complete all required units/modules will receive their qualification and an Academic Statement itemising all units/modules successfully completed. 3. Following receipt of written advice from the student (or teacher) that the student does not intend to complete the full course, the student will be issued with a Statement of Attainment listing all units/modules successfully completed.

Upon completion of this course students will receive a Statement of Attendance for unit NU00107 – Shibori Basics: Folding.

Classes will be held at Building B, Room 1.36 from 6 pm - 8 pm.

Whilst on-campus students are required to wear closed in shoes.
