Cape York Scholarships

In line with the delivery of the Peninsula Developmental Road projects, the Department of Transport and Main Roads is partnering with the Cape York Land Council to offer 2 scholarships in 2017.

Scholarship Value: $10,000 per year

Length of Scholarship: Up to 4 years, while studying full-time

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, students must:
  • be an Aboriginal person or a Torres Strait Islander, with a traditional or historical connection to country around the Peninsula Developmental Road
  • be studying an eligible tertiary qualification full-time in 2017 (tertiary scholarships).
