By completing the Graduate Certificate in Creative and Professional Practice (Major), you will be able to develop and extend your creative arts and professional skills, knowledge and judgement to give you a professional edge. The Graduate Certificate in Creative and Professional Practice (Major) is aimed primarily at current and future arts management and community arts professionals, creative and performing arts practitioners and others who wish to extend your capacity to operate professionally and/or artistically in the creative industries and other arts industries in professional and/or creative roles. There are a wide range of opportunities for professionals wishing to enter, or work in, arts management, events management, community arts, arts education, curatorial practice, fashion and a wide range of creative practice areas such as: creative writing, editing and publishing including digital storytelling and writing for stage and screen; film, television and photography; the visual arts, theatre arts and music composition and performance; arts event design and delivery; arts curriculum development; curatorial and exhibition practice.

FEE-HELP and payment options

FEE-HELP is the loan scheme provided the Australian Government to help eligible students pay their tuition fees through a loan.

Eligible students can use a FEE-HELP loan to pay for all or some of their tuition fees. If you elect to use a FEE-HELP loan, this means that you will defer payment of your tuition fees and repay your FEE-HELP loan when your income is above the compulsory repayment threshold (the 2018-2019 income year threshold is $51,957 or above).

You must meet specific eligibility requirements to be able to use FEE-HELP assistance.

If you are not eligible for a FEE-HELP loan, or you are required to pay your tuition fees upfront, you will need to pay your fees no later than the census date for the term in which you are studying.
