Applying to Study During COVID 19
At CQUniversity, we’re committed to providing quality education throughout the disruption of COVID-19. Our courses are open for application which means there's no need to wait or put things on hold if you would like to start studying sooner, rather than later.
As a result of COVID-19, CQUniversity transitioned face-to-face teaching online for our Higher Education courses, and this has continued throughout our study terms in 2020 as we continue to follow social distancing requirements and advice made by the Australian Government. This means that if you are starting your studies with us, whether you apply to study on campus or online, you may find your course is delivered slightly differently.
Online delivery will continue for Term 3, 2020, with some exceptions for face-to-face delivery for practical units and unit activities, based on the lifting of state and national restrictions. Unit coordinators and teaching staff will provide you with direct and detailed advice related to any face-to-face, on-campus learning requirements.
As industry leaders in online education, we are well-placed to provide an excellent online service to our students. And if you intend to study on campus in the long-term, rest assured that we will fully support you as you commence and progress through your studies.
While there have been changes to our face-to-face delivery, our term dates remain the same, and these are outlined in our academic calendars.
If the course that you are interested in has a residential school or work placement component, you may find that these will be on hold, postponed to a later date when face-to-face teaching may resume or delivered differently, for example, some residential schools may be held online.
As you commence your studies our teaching teams and course coordinators will keep you informed of specific details relating to any relevant residential schools or placements if they form part of the course that you are studying.
Interested in applying to study? Our courses are open for application and there are no changes to the application process or intake dates for our upcoming intakes.
Applications for Term 1 (March) 2021, for our higher education courses are open now, and applications can be made via the relevant Tertiary Admission Centres and our direct admission portal.
TAFE courses are open, with many courses having monthly intakes. Applications can be made directly to us, via our direct admission portal.
