CPD30 - Dealing with Aggressive Behaviours - An Introduction

Upon completion of this two hour short course you will have an introduction to understanding the purpose of aggressive behaviour and explores the strategies that can be implemented to manage these behaviours. This course also provides an introduction to Positive Behaviour support and the development of positive relationships.

Successful completion of this course is awarded two CPD hours.
Community care workers that work with clients who show behaviours of concern such as aggression are challenged with providing professional care who may cause harm to themselves, the worker and/or to others.
You will have the following learning outcomes at the completion of this course:
- Develop an understanding of the influence and purpose of aggressive behaviours
- Assess behaviours of concern
- Consider strategies and plan support to meet an individual's need
- Identify general strategies for positive relationships
