Course Summary

Community care workers that work with clients who show behaviours of concern such as aggression are challenged with providing professional care who may cause harm to themselves, the worker and/or to others.

You will have the following learning outcomes at the completion of this course:

  • Develop an understanding of the influence and purpose of aggressive behaviours
  • Assess behaviours of concern
  • Consider strategies and plan support to meet an individual's need
  • Identify general strategies for positive relationships
