If you have completed the education unit for medication administration, work in an area that involves nursing clients who need Intravenous Medication and the organisation that you work for is prepared to support you, this unit would benefit you. Students undertaking this course will study the accredited unit HLTENN007 - Administer and monitor medicines and intravenous therapy.

Students are required to complete 10 hours of vocational placement, this will require the student to supported by their facility.  This placement is not arranged by CQUniversity.

This course has no residential schools.
Students must be a current Enrolled Nurse working in a facility that allows enrolled nurses to administer IV Medication.
Upon successful completion of this accredited short course, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for the unit HLTENN007 - Administer and monitor medicines and intravenous therapy.
Professional recognition is not applicable to this course.
