How to apply to Start TAFE Now

How to Apply 

STEP 1

Select the Start TAFE Now Course Options tile on the Start TAFE Now Homepage and select your desired course

STEP 2

Select the How to Apply button on the course page followed by Apply Now

STEP 3

Select the Start TAFE Now applicant tile

STEP 4

Register for a new student ID or login with your current ID

STEP 5

Continue through the Start TAFE Now Application portal to submit your application. You will need to attach your signed Start Now Study Authorisation Form before submitting your application. If you are applying for ACM20121 you must also attach the completed Vocational Agreement Employer Pack (refer to entry requirements information on the course page)

STEP 6

Complete your Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB). The BKSB is a Maths and English competency test that provides an overview of your learning strengths so that we are able to support you during your studies at CQUniversity. 

What to expect after applying

After submitting your application, you will receive the following emails:

• Application acknowledgement
• Request to complete BKSB
• Outcome of your application.

If your application is successful you will also receive a welcome email with the confirmation of your enrolment and STN resources.

Your application will not be assessed until completed in full with all supporting documentation and completion of BKSB.
