CQUniversity has many locations; each with its own lively character and range of facilities and services as well as program and course offerings. On July 1 CQUniversity is set to merge with CQ TAFE and will commence operating as Queensland’s first dual sector University. CQUniversity will offer a more comprehensive approach to education and training and will have one of the largest footprints of any tertiary education institution in Australia.
From July 1 CQUniversity will have 12 campuses including newly merged regional Queensland campuses in Gladstone, Emerald, Mackay and Rockhampton along with existing campuses in Bundaberg, Brisbane, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Rockhampton, Noosa and Sydney.
Other locations for CQUniversity are currently established in Adelaide, Cairns, Cannonvale, Geraldton, Edithvale and Emerald. Once merged, CQUniversity will also be located in Biloela and Yeppoon. These locations will be as a mix of Distance Education Study Centres, Partner Study Hubs, Study Centres and Delivery Sites.
The map and locations listed are representative of our locations from July 1, 2014.
A Campus is a CQUniversity location with student facilitates such as libraries, lecture theatres and other learning spaces, student advice centers and commercial outlets such as food and beverage. Campuses can be accessed by both on-campus and distance education students.
A Study Centre is a CQUniversity location that is a smaller version of a campus. While you will find staff and teaching facilities here, these study centres usually don’t have a full range of services, for example commercial outlets/food and beverage.
A Distance Education Study Centre is a CQUniversity location that caters specifically for distance education students, offering facilities such as study rooms, meeting rooms, computing and videoconferencing, internet access and access to staff who can assist with student enquiries. Our Distance Education Study Centres provide quiet study space away from home or work.
A Partner Study Hub is a CQUniversity location where students can drop in to utilise Internet and computing facilities and access information about CQUniversity programs and services. Partner Study Hubs are operated in collaboration with CQUniversity partners such as TAFE and other community organisations. While limited student facilities and services are available at Study Hubs, our friendly staff can help you get in touch with other CQUniversity staff and services.
A Delivery Site is a CQUniversity location where students may need to attend to complete a component of their program.
