CQUniCares Appeal

Together we create change.

Thanks to the generosity of more than 150 alumni, staff, students and community partners, over $28,000 was raised during the 2024 Appeal. This money will enable support for students through CQUniCares Student Success Scholarships and further research efforts in koala protection and Gumbi Gumbi Traditional Medicine. Thank you to everyone who donated or supported the Appeal. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will have a lasting impact. 

2025 Appeal is coming!

The 2025 CQUniCares Appeal will take place 23 - 27 June. Funds raised will support three important causes:

• U-BEACH: Funding for specialist equipment and training to help people living with a disability or mobility limitations to access and enjoy the beach.
• CQUniCares Student Success Scholarships: Ensuring every student has the support they need to overcome the financial challenges of studying.
• Indigenous Sea Ranger Education: Training provided by CQUniversity's Coastal Marine Ecosystems Research Centre (CMERC), upskilling rangers to undertake conservation work related to seagrass meadow restoration.
