Orientation Connect

When you’re not busy tuning into OTV and dropping in for Orientation Boost, join us on campus for an Orientation Connect event.

Orientation Connect events are an optional component of Orientation, giving you the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow students, staff, and support services. Events will differ for each location and may include networking activities, campus tours, and market stalls.

How to register

If you are a new student in Term 2 2021, follow the link below to register. If at any point you need to check what event you selected, just re-visit the registration form.

Continuing students and TAFE students

If you commenced your course in a term prior to Term 2 2021 or are a new or continuing TAFE student, continue to check your student email in June for instructions to register for Orientation Connect.

Health and safety

To ensure these events are COVID-safe, it's compulsory to register your attendance. Event schedules can be found on the event items listed above. For the health and safety of other students and staff, we kindly ask that you comply with any health and safety measures that the University has in place at your campus at the time of the event. This might mean wearing a face mask and social distancing.

If you feel unwell on the day of the event, we ask that you please stay home and do not attend. Instead, you can tune-in to OTV, drop-in to Orientation Boost, and complete Countdown to CQUni for all of the essential information you need.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you on campus and online!
