CQUniversity is a member of UniSport Australia which is the peak governing body of university sport in Australia. UniSport hosts 43 member universities, who collectively represent more than one million students nationwide.
CQUniversity take part in the following events:
- Indigenous Nationals
- Nationals Division 2
- Nationals Division 1

CQUNI COMMUNITY SPORTS CENTRE
The CQUni Community Sports Centre at Rockhampton comprises a fully-equipped fitness centre and a heated 25-metre, 8-lane public pool. Gym membership includes access to an indoor and outdoor gym, heated pool, large variety of classes, free tennis court hire and athletics oval.
MACKAY REGIONAL SPORTS PRECINCT
Although still under construction, stages 1A and 1B of the Mackay Regional Sports precinct will feature a synthetic athletics track and aquatic facility, both built to international standards. Development of the precinct is supported by the Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday Regional councils together with local businesses and organisations.
World Gym Partnership
CQUniversity has partnered with World Gym to provide discounted memberships for CQUni staff and students at select World Gym Centres in locations where we currently cannot supply access to existing sports facilities (i.e outside of Rockhampton and Mackay regions).
