William Kirk

After a career as an accountant and administrator in State and Local governments and the Not-for-Profit industry, William is now retired. William qualified with a Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne. Until this point, his career had been in State government departments in Victoria. He chose to further his career by undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Accounting (Management) with CQUniversity’s antecedent institute the Capricornia Institute of Advanced Education. He completed this study via distance in 1981. Throughout his career, William held financial management roles in State Government, Municipal Government, and Not-for-Profit areas. He also undertook a number of volunteer leadership roles in community organisations.
