Tess Aberline is a Wills, Estates and Succession Planning Lawyer at Coulter Roache in Geelong. Tess studied her Bachelor of Laws with CQUniversity online and graduated with Distinction in 2014. After graduation, Tess completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
Tess chose to study at CQUniversity as it offered the flexibility to study interstate and at her own pace, without compromising the quality of her education.
Since graduation, Tess has secured a career which she finds enjoyable and rewarding and enables her to help people during difficult periods of their lives.
Her role as a Wills, Estates and Succession Planning Lawyer involves meeting clients and preparing high-level documentation. Tess credits her ability to confidently meet with clients, produce strong documentation and her attention to detail, to the feedback provided by her CQUni lecturers throughout her Law degree.
Tess believes that her experience with CQUniversity has given her sound theoretical knowledge and the confidence to challenge herself. Outside of work Tess is actively involved in the community and is the Director of two not-for-profit Boards – the Multicultural Aged Care Services Geelong (MACS) and Kids Plus Foundation. Tess describes these roles as challenging but extremely rewarding.
Tess also mentors junior staff within her law firm, providing an opportunity to contribute to the firm and the wider community in a meaningful way.
