Completing my studies at CQU was an obvious choice for me as a Queenslander (even if I was in NSW as the time). It also helped that CQU offered the program I was looking for. The central location of the Sydney campus was attractive and the student’s diverse ethnicities very welcoming. The small class size made my learning experience more personal.
My CQU degree was the stepping stone to two further Master’s degree programs. The fundamentals of project management and teamwork I learnt at CQU are invaluable and I use them to this day.
Since graduation, I have worked at a senior level in a number of industries and enjoyed opportunities to work in Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin, Townsville, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Japan, Sweden, Norway, parts of the Middle East and now Cairns where I am the Economic Development Manager for the region's peak economic development, advocacy and investment attraction agency.
I have also been Chairperson, board member and committee member for various Australian and International organisations and have been published several times in media in Australia and overseas.
