Shams Ahmed

Shams is currently an Associate Professor in Mathematics and Computational Science at the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh. He chose to study at CQUniversity due to its good reputation in higher studies.

Shams PhD degree helped him to build his career in teaching and research. His current position involves both teaching and research, which coincides with his Thesis Excellence Award he received in 2016.

His greatest career achievement is his promotion to Associate Professor last year due to his outstanding research publications and positive teaching evaluations made by his students.

Currently, Shams is involved in his university as a member of the Learning, Teaching and Quality Assurance Committee (LTQA). Shams previously organised the "5th International Conference on Science and Technology (ICNST'18)" as a Co-chair.
