Scott Hayes

Scott Hayes is a Claims Advisor at Employers Mutual Limited (EML).

In 2014 Scott completed a Graduate Diploma of Management, before progressing into a Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Business, which he graduated from in 2017. Scott chose CQUniversity because it is well known for online learning. Suffering from mental health issues, the flexibility of online learning meant Scott could study away from large crowds of people.

Scott believes the subjects studied in his degrees have assisted him in his current role, allowing him to effectively create business documents, and express ideas in a business context.

On a personal level, some of Scott’s highlights are being the first in his family to graduate university and persevering through struggles at times to finish his degrees. On a professional level, Scott is most proud of stepping outside of his comfort levels and offering improvements.
