Murray Peterson

Living in a rural area of Queensland, there were no university campuses nearby to complete my qualification. CQUniversity gave me the opportunity to study online and provided me with the qualifications I needed to be a registered Teacher in Queensland.
I am currently working as a Science Teacher for Education Queensland and previously worked in a Mastery-Based Learning school, which I believe is a more equitable option for most students.

There have been a number of highlights in my career, but a couple of the stand out experiences were the opportunity to take a busload of Science students to observe the eclipse of the sun in 2012, and giving senior school Physics students a hands-on approach to Physics through flying a plane.
