Graham Scott

Graham graduated as a civil engineer in 1980 and worked for several consulting engineers before creating Graham Scott & Associates in 1993 (which has since merged into Brown Consulting). He advises on, and is involved in the design and constructions of, urban land developments, roads, unit complexes and a range of commercial and government buildings including schools.
Aspiration: To encourage a broader range of young people into engineering. "Engineering skills is not maths / science nerds, engineering is about communication and problem-solving. I'm trying, in some ways, to change the community perception of engineering."
Graham's inspiration: People who give back to their community. "Engineers are underrepresented in fields like politics, local government and even down to junior sporting groups, you've almost got a responsibility, with those skills, to help your community in roles beyond engineering."
