Fiona Bazeley

After graduating from CQUniversity, Fiona began her career with Downer as an Environmental Officer. Unfortunately, she was made redundant after nearly a year between COVID-19 and a secondment ending. She then secured a role as an Environmental Consultant with Environmental Resources Management (ERM) at the start of 2021.

Fiona’s current role involves undertaking groundwater sampling and assisting with client projects. She has recently been tasked with filling in as an Environment and Community Advisor at Newlands Coal Mine until a new person is recruited for the role.

Fiona began her studies straight out of high school. Enjoying Geography and Marine Science in high school, the school’s guidance councillor suggested environmental science, which she chose to study.
