Christopher Van Der Linde

In 1982 I graduated from CQUniversity with a Bachelor of Arts. Over the next several years I worked as a Probation and Parole Officer and Area Manager with Family Services. I returned to University and completed a Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary). I then worked for a number of years for the Queensland Criminal Justice Commission before taking up a teaching position with TAFE. I became a Leading Vocational Teacher with TAFE, and during my years there I completed a Master of Education and finally a PhD in Education. I took voluntary early retirement in 2011.

One of the most influential lecturers at CQU was Dr Frances Killion, without whose support, I may never have completed my BA and experienced the life journey that I have.
