Christopher Tuffield

Christopher began his career at National Australia Bank (NAB) in 1999 while at university and has had a career with the bank for 23 years. He has completed a wide range of roles from teller, financial analyst, credit analyst, branch manager, business banking associate and business banking manager. In his current role as a specialised transactional banking manager, he helps clients with workflow and controls.

Christopher’s role at NAB is to assist businesses in "making the complex world of payments simpler". He takes the time to understand the business cash flow, workflow and controls to provide targeted solutions to help manage, streamline and simplify business processes.

Christopher came straight out of high school and into university in Bundaberg. One of the benefits of studying at the Bundaberg campus was the small class sizes. This enabled better connections with lectures and tutors to develop the knowledge he needed in the workforce. Christopher still remembers a lot of the teachings of one of his lecturers, Margaret Flanders, that he applies to his work to this day.
