Abass Olaode

Abass is a Network Specialist at Telstra. In his current position, he manages and monitors data communication devices for organisations such as BP, Chevron, NSW Department of Justice, Department of Foreign Affairs, Medibank and many others.

After Graduating from CQUniversity, Abass worked with Aurizon, the ACT Government and Southern Cross Austereo. His studies provided him with the fundamental understandings upon which he builds his professional and technical development.

Before studying at CQUni, Abass completed a Higher National Diploma in Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering at Federal Polytechnic Bauchi in Nigeria. He chose CQUniversity because he found the staff helpful during his search for a university in Australia.

After completing his Bachelor of Engineering degree at CQUniversity, Abass proceeded to study at the University of Wollongong, where he completed a Master of Engineering and PhD.
